Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use Fave Sonar.

Last updated: 2026-10-01

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of Fave Sonar (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them.

These terms are published in Japanese and English only. They apply to you even if you use the Service in another language.

2. About the Service

The Service is an **unofficial fan site** where fans post impressions of each show of a live tour and react to other fans' posts. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced in cooperation with any artist, agency, label, promoter, or other rights holder.

Tours are identified by artist and tour or event hashtags registered by users. Hashtags, artist names, show names, and similar names belong to their respective owners.

3. Accounts

  • Viewing tours, shows, topics, and posts does not require an account. Registering shows, posting, reacting, registering attendance, view-only mode, and purchases require signing in with a Google account.
  • You may not create an account if you are under 13 years old, or under 16 years old if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
  • You are responsible for your account. Do not let others use it.
  • Attendance is self-reported. Do not register a show as attended if you did not attend it. If you only want to read posts that contain spoilers, use view-only mode.

4. Pricing

Viewing, registering shows, posting, reacting, registering attendance, your recap (attendance record, your posts, and each show's empathy ranking), and sharing are free.

Buying a tour for a one-time JPY 100 (tax included) unlocks the following for that tour, for the buyer only. There is no expiry.

  • "Look back further" in your recap (hall-of-fame posts across all shows, show-by-show comparison, and CSV export of your posts)
  • No advertising on that tour's pages

5. Purchases and refunds

A purchase applies only to the user who bought it. It does not unlock anything for other users. Purchases are per tour, not an account-wide subscription.

Because a purchase becomes usable immediately once payment completes, we do not offer refunds after payment completes. This does not apply where a technical fault on our side prevented us from delivering the feature.

If a tour is hidden or deleted for administrative reasons (such as action on a report or a request from a rights holder), the purchased features also stop being available. No refund is given in that case either.

6. Posting rules

  • Post your impressions as a fan who saw (or is about to see) the show.
  • Do not post information that can identify a person, such as real names, contact details, or addresses. Prying into anyone's private life, including performers, and posting sightings are prohibited.
  • You cannot post calls to resell or transfer tickets, or URLs, email addresses, phone numbers, or social media IDs.
  • Do not post content that infringes others' copyright, such as transcribed lyrics.
  • Posts on post-show topics may contain spoilers. Please avoid spoilers on social media until the tour ends.

7. How posts are handled

  • Posts are published so that anyone, including people who are not signed in, can view them. Posts on post-show topics are shown only to people who attended the tour or use view-only mode, and to everyone from three weeks after the final show.
  • When you post or edit, the content is checked with AI. Clearly inappropriate content and content that identifies a person are not saved. Posts judged negative are shown only to their author until rephrased.
  • Other users' posts stop being displayed two years after they were posted (they still count in totals). Hall-of-fame posts are displayed indefinitely.
  • When you delete your account, you can choose to anonymize or delete your posts. Anonymized posts remain without showing who wrote them.
  • You retain copyright in your posts. You grant the Service a royalty-free license to display, store, and quote them for sharing within the Service, to the extent necessary to operate it.

8. Prohibited conduct

  • Anything unlawful or contrary to public order and morals
  • Impersonating another person
  • Infringing the rights of others, including copyright, likeness rights, and privacy
  • Defamation, harassment, or using the Service to expose a specific individual
  • Falsely registering attendance at a show you did not attend
  • Interfering with the operation of the Service, including excessive automated access
  • Invalid clicks on advertising or artificially inflating impressions
  • Copying, modifying, or reverse engineering the Service

9. Reports and enforcement

We accept reports about tours and posts. After reviewing a report we may hide posts or tours, delete data, or suspend an account where we consider it necessary.

We do not promise advance notice of such measures or disclosure of the reasoning in individual cases.

10. Requests from rights holders

Artists, agencies, and other rights holders can request that a tour be removed from display to people who are not signed in and to search engines ("For rights holders" at the bottom of each page). The operator reviews each request. Signed-in users' own records and browsing are not affected.

11. Disclaimer

  • The Service is provided as is. We do not warrant fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
  • We are not liable for damages arising from interruption, data loss, or delay.
  • Posts are the responsibility of the users who wrote them. Disputes over their content are to be resolved between the parties involved.
  • Where we are liable in connection with a purchase, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour concerned.

12. Changes to the Service

We may change the Service or stop providing it. If we discontinue it, we will give notice in advance where possible.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kobe District Court as the court of first instance.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the updated text and its revision date on this page.
